Understanding health scores
How findings turn into category scores and the overall 0–100 health score.
Category scores
Every category starts at 100. Each finding subtracts points by severity:
- Critical: −25
- Error: −12
- Warning: −5
- Info: −1
- Good: 0
A category with no checks that could run has no score.
Overall health
The overall score is a weighted average of the categories that have data: Performance 25%, Security 25%, Network 20%, Plugins 15%, Configuration 10%, Compatibility 5%.
If any finding is Critical, the overall score is capped at 89. A server with a critical problem is never reported as excellent.
What the numbers mean
- 85–100 healthy
- 70–84 good, with things to improve
- 50–69 needs attention
- below 50 poor
