Pterodactyl integration
Link your own Pterodactyl panel so Tickhound can read files and resource usage.
How it works
You provide a client API key from your own Pterodactyl account. Tickhound uses it read-only to list your servers, read server.properties, logs/latest.log, the plugins folder listing, and the live CPU/memory figures.
How your key is protected
- Encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM.
- Never returned by any API, never shown in the UI, never written to logs or error messages — including to administrators.
- Administrators only see: connected, connection status and last check time.
- Panel URLs must use https and must not point to private network addresses.
- Disconnecting deletes the stored key.
Setup
- In Pterodactyl open Account → API Credentials and create a key.
- In Tickhound open Settings → Integrations and enter the panel URL and key.
- Tickhound tests the connection. Then link a Tickhound server to a panel server from the server page.
- Tick “Sync from Pterodactyl” when running diagnostics.
